Supposed to be a knife thrust and stuck into a wall, but could as well be a sword hitting a wooden table or anything else.

I used audio source separator isse (http://isse. Sourceforge. Net/) to separate the hi hats from the kick and snare in the break beat "funky drummer". Funky drummer: https://en. Wikipedia. Org/wiki/funky_drummer. The beginning of the audio file plays the kick and snare part while the 2nd part of the same audio file plays the hi-hat part.

A variation on breakbeat 1,a few more snare hits and an extra kick to shuffle it up a bit. A bit of fuzz across the whole drum mix really does make a difference!normalise for extra volume.

My iphone died, but not completely. The screen was cracked, the battery was failing and it was difficult to make contact in the worn charging socket to charge it. It reset itself frequently and never stayed on in any temperature below 65 degrees f. So i downloaded my data and activated a new phone, but lo and behold, i couldn't turn off the old one. I would have to wait for the battery to run down. For once, the battery lasted. Two days later i listened to the alarm go off for ten minutes. My arms were full of laundry, and suddenly my backup alarm started blaring, loaded with an obnoxious ringtone. My back porch is concrete. My 16-ounce claw hammer was handy.

Recorded using tascam dr-05 inside my hooded jumper sleeve, still quite crisp sounding. I combined a lot of fx from this site to make a huge explosion with a large aftermath and ringing in the ears- to make it a more 'cinematic' moment, i have a build up in reverse to the moment, a pause, then the explosion. Rubble and glass fall as the listeners' ears ring from the explosion.

Just hitting the same chord over and over again but ending up in an almost march like beat. Probably good for an intro or breakdown.
